Rhino's colossal codpiece has to be seen to be believed (especially when paired with the Limbo Agile animation set's rhythmic pelvic thrusts), and Volt is no slouch in the department, either.Using Valkyr's Rip Line ability on a Scorpion finally giving them a taste of their own medicine. It's not a "noob" issue, it's an AI pathing issue. Some maps there's not much room to move about around points that you have to defend, and standing in front of the bubble will only encourage the AI to stop outside of it and attack, which deals no damage but also doesn't allow anyone in the bubble nor you to kill them, without a banish that you could avoid by, you know, sitting in the bubble. You can play healer with the banish augment, considering it's a cheap cast and can be spammed it's not too bad really.Īs for standing in the radius of cataclysm or not it's purely subjective. You're forgetting being able to Riftwalk while reviving allies, pulling single targets like gunners/bombards into the rift to isolate them from a group and go for a finisher kill (also works really well in spy against patrolling guards as it stops them dead on their route and allows for a finisher), also there's the reverse of that banishing a tougher enemy while you and the team take out the weaker mobs, (works wonders against ancients for example, and doesn't limit you to the "one enemy at a time" assassin playstyle). The issue is NO ONE thinks to make yourself go into the rift buff then stand BACK and shoot INTO your cataclysmīasicaly if you see a limbo standing in his cataclym he's a noob He can be deadly effective with rocket/grenade launchers Then you use your 4th ability on groups of enemies and shoot inside the bubble Use 2nd to go into the void and be invulnerable Or use your 1st to make your rescue target invulnerable Use your 1st ability so warframe allies can be immortal as they cast powers
Originally posted by ✪ templar:So the limbo theorem quest is building and im hyped to get the limbo parts n stuff, but is he actually good,im gonna try him out either way and he seems very interesting but is he worth it? he is awkward, his 1st and 2nd are the same ability :/ his 3rd is an insane buff especialy if you get the augment mod and his third is awkward and similar to snowglobe, basicaly These days it's my go-to speedrun frame for Spy of any kind lol. It makes the Moon spy a cakewalk too as he can pass through the beams and sensors while in the rift there, too. I will add though, that it's not just Corpus spy it's useful for he can walk straight through the laser beams and sensors in Grineer missions, the only thing you have to worry about are actual guards and regulator drones both of which can be killed or avoided easily enough.
It's an incredibly useful frame if you use it right, though there's not a great margin for error with things as it's squishy and caught in a bad situation you can easily get downed.
The problem is that Limbo forces the party to adapt to him, that is why he is not popular as a teammate in random groups. Limbo can make rescue, sortie defence, Corpus spy missions a total joke, make teammates almost immortal and ignore enemies in most mission types, yes. Some people absolutely love to play as Limbo, some think it's a garbage frame. Originally posted by tutzdes:It really depends. (As of now, there is no way other than buying limbo with platinum if you decide to sell him after completion, so i recommend you do not sell him.) Though in the end, its up to you if you like him or not. Limbo also gets a passive that increases movement and reload speed soon, so that will make him much better. also consider when you should use your first skill with limbo to banish other players, some people get annoyed by that.) (The 4th skill will deny other players the items lying around if it is inside the rift, some people dislikes that, so use with care and be thoughtfull. carrier sentinels are your friends when playing limbo, brining all the items with you till you find a place to safely get out of the rift. When it comes to missions, he is absolutely the best for Rescue missions and if modded right, useable for Mobile Defense and Defense (though frost is usually more preffered for that.)Īn thing of importance: you can not pick up items while in the rift, you have to get out of it, making you vulnerable. While in the rift he gets a Power regen effect, if your duration is long enough then you might never run out of power. can go up to nearly 600% with the right mods. With his current skills he gets a high weapon damage multiplier when he is in the rift, leading to a 200% increase in damage. Limbo is worth it, He can make himself become nearly unkillable up to a duration of 60+ seconds (maxed duration) and walk around the map picking out targets of his choosing to kill.
